Our lab arrived at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne in early 2023!

Our research interests are broadly centered on the neurobiology of memory, particularly the computational role of the hippocampus and associated structures in memory formation.

We approach these questions through a combination of computational and experimental methods. Our work uses high-density recording of neural activity with virtual reality to study hippocampal-cortical circuits in behaving mice. We study the connections between these dynamics and methods of efficient coding in artificial neural networks.
